Basil Marceaux makes a surprise announcement exclusively on MSL

During his appearance on the August 24, 2010 edition of Memphis Sport Live (MSL), politician Basil Marceaux (aka Basil Marceaux.com) made a surprise announcement, declaring his plan to run as a write-in for Tennessee governor in this fall's election.

Earlier this summer, MSL made headlines when Prince Mongo appeared in studio for his first major interview since the 2009 election and when Rick Trotter chose MSL as the place to announce whether or not he would return to the Memphis Grizzlies next season.
